Mystery Stump is an Oldschool problem. Start off the old stump if it’s still there. Climb up and left. Seems like a couple campus move to knobs.

The Chronic

The Chronic is a traverse that starts as far down, low and to the right as you can get. Follow the shelf around the corner to the left where you can top out once you hit the crack or continue out, left and up.

Mainline is the perfect rectangular boulder found tucked away towards nail up rock and below the back porch. 

  Mainline starts on the sloping rail down and right, campus, slap and  heel hook your way up the rail and head left. Big moves out to a non-existant slope-crimper that only is alive in the right conditions. Heel Hook and Continue slapping up, lock off and head straight up to the small crimps and top out.

Classic crimpy knob pulling!  You don't get much, but it is enough.

Listed as a project in Bill Cramer’s first edition Prescott Bouldering Guide I sent this line in 2000 or earlier. This is a very cool crimpy line to the right of Mystery Stump. Hard crimps, deadpoints, and a toss to the slopey top. Saw quick repeats by visiting Gunks and Swiss climbers who confirmed the grade. May start off the stump.

Farmer John is a great V4 to throw into your circuit or to project at the grade. It starts on what looks like a right hand undercling, but use it as a gaston and a left hand on a high sloper/crimp. High left foot and flag with the right and you've unlocked it.

Steely Dan is a condition dependent sloper problem to the right of Farmer John. Start with your right hand on the knob and left hand undercling, toe-cam trickery and slapping straight up to the slopers and matching is the game here, wrestle the top out.

Rad Rocks is a large cluster of boulders directly below the Back Porch Slab. This area includes The Mystery Stump Boulder.
