Chunky arete, but the rock is decent, with ledges and plenty of rest to 2 bolt anchor. Crux is at the top. Note that this feature was originally climbed ground up by AMH by ascending the broken crack system to the left. Poor rock quality and lame climbing led DAS to develop the arete and put in this far superior line.

Committing start to clear low, bolt-protected roof on right (climbing left, on arête through roof, is 5.11 opening moves). Stay right of arête past bolts and ledges to large ledge right of Talon's Grip anchors. Don't get lured right by the anchors. Continue to the top of feature using small to medium protection to 2 bolt anchors climbers left of small tree. Single line rap, but not really that effective for TRing.

Easier start than "Peregrin's" with a small roof to clear from the ledge. Ascend the shallow dihedral to crux move that gets you to awkward upper ledge and final short face to 2 bolt anchor.

Tricky start to a ledge and a very committing low roof -- note where the bolt is BEFORE you start the climb. Pull the roof and ascend the delicate arete before the crux upper roof that will likely be a difficult on sight.

The middle, west facing region of Raptor Ridge, this area is marked by the two hard sport climbs: Peregrin's Prey (11+) and Talon's Grip (12-). Two more moderate lines (5.8 sport and 5.9 mixed) are good warm ups and a wide crack rounds out the selection for this sub-area.
